Sublimation ink turns to gas under heat and bonds into a polyester coating, so the image becomes part of the surface and cannot peel or scratch off. It needs a white or light polyester-coated base: mugs, coasters, mouse pads, phone cases, metal plates, puzzles, flags and polyester garments. Photographs reproduce well. It does not work on cotton or dark surfaces, where we use DTF or heat transfer instead.
